This Hari Raya Aidilfitri will be a special one for the children from Pertubuhan Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Darussalam, an orphanage in Ipoh.

The kids, about fifty of them, were taken to shop for Raya clothes and shoes at Econsave Klebang and then treated to an appetising buffet dinner at Impiana Hotel Ipoh.

This memorable annual event, jointly organised and hosted by Econsave, the Association of Ipoh City Council Senior Officers (PADUAN) and Perak Media Sports and Welfare Club (Kelab Sukan dan Kebajikan Media Perak), was a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to give back to the community.

Besides receiving their Raya gifts worth RM3,000 in total, the children also received duit raya in this sharing of blessings with the needy during the holy month of Ramadhan.
