Some fifty children from two orphanage homes were specially invited to Symphony Suites Hotel to break fast with the hotel directors, management and staff recently.

The event was the hotel’s annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to give back to those in the community who are disadvantaged, especially during the holy month of Ramadhan.

The two selected beneficiaries where Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim & Miskin Ar-Riduani Ipoh and Baitul Aini Ipoh (Anak-Anak Yatim Tahfiz).

Besides receiving goody bags and sponsored gifts that included schooling materials, the junior guests and their chaperons were also treated to a generous buffet spread of Asian cuisine. The children were seen happily swamping the pastry counter.

The evening ended on a sweet note when each child was handed “duit raya” by the hotel directors. It was a modest, yet meaningful occasion.
