World Heart Day Pantai Hospital Ipoh — launching of Pantai Hospital Ipoh’s World Heart Day programme

Pantai Hospital Ipoh held a day-long heart health awareness programme today at Kinta City, Ipoh. It was part of the hospital’s 6-week heart awareness campaign in conjunction with World Heart Day, which falls on 29th September annually. Perak State Executive Council Member, Y.B. Dato’ Dr. Mah Hang Soon, was invited to launch the programme.

At Kinta City, besides a host of activities lined up to create heart health awareness, Pantai Hospital Ipoh also provided a series of tests like lipid profile, haemogloblin and blood sugar level.

In addition, besides imparting knowledge on heart health, cardiovascular diseases, risk factors and information on how to prevent or even reverse weak heart condition, Pantai Hospital Ipoh had, through interactive games and quizzes, made learning about this very serious health issue, fun.
