Orchid Exhibition & Competition

Jointly organised by the Perak Orchid Society and Orchid Society of Malaysia, this six-day orchid show is an exhibition as well as competition, where cash prizes are to be won.

This orchid competition is open to the public, and not only members of the aforementioned societies. Entry is open to anyone with an orchid plant in bloom.

There are forty classes of orchids with show prizes. The first, second and third prize winners will walk away with RM70, RM50 and RM30 cash respectively.

Meanwhile, Best in Show will win RM500, Best Runner-up RM300 and Best Species, RM200.

Held at the premises of the Petronas station located at the junction of Jalan Canning Estate – Jalan Tambun, there are booths selling orchids as well as other ornamental plants.
