Flowers for Dads on Father’s Day
I read a news article today that a company is trying to normalize men receiving flowers. Do you think this is odd or do you think it’s high time that men are sent flowers also to show that they are appreciated?
This Father’s Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, perhaps you can test out the reaction of the men in your life by sending them a surprise bouquet of flowers, or perhaps a pot of plant. I bet you there will be a funny reaction.
During this time of lockdown and physical distancing, where families are torn apart for the inability to travel, let’s not give ourselves an excuse for not celebrating the occasion of Father’s Day. In fact, we should make extra effort to make it as memorable as possible. Check with your local florists in New York City, Singapore or wherever you are, and see what bouquet options they offer, particularly for men.
I did a Google search for the best NYC florists and found Plant Shed listed. I have to admit, I’m pretty impressed by the collection of classy orchids that are available, and they are priced reasonably as well. I know my dad would love to receive one or two of these orchid plants! Based on the many Plant Shed New York City locations of their retail stores, anyone who wishes to have flowers or plants delivered to a New York address would be able to get it done quickly. That is certainly advantageous.
So, let me know, are you game to send flowers to the Dads in your life? I think I am, as we all need some flowers to brighten our days, don’t we?
