The International Day of Peace, or simply World Peace Day, is observed annually on 21 September.
This year, to mark the special day, a global synchronous meditation using a mobile application is being organised.
2014 is even more significant as it marks the 100th year of the beginning of World War I.
Supporters of world peace around the world are urged to come together in this momentous event to meditate for world peace, creating peaceful vibrations rippling throughout to create a wave of change for a more harmonious world.
In Malaysia, there will be group meditation at several points at the stipulated time (1400 UTC) on 21 September.
In Ipoh, initiated by Ipoh International Association for Human Values (IAHV) & the Art Of Living, those who are interested to participate in the event may do so by contacting Candy at 010-4046393.
