Now known as Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Heeren Street was the street of the rich and famous in the old days. The old restored double-storey shop house at No. 8, Heeren Steet, is a successful model for conservation and adaptive re-use. It is open to the public for viewing free of charge, Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
