Redang Pelangi Resort Beachfront Paradise
Fronting the white powdery sandy beach of Redang Island’s Pasir Panjang, and overlooking the vast crystal clear turquoise South China Sea is Redang Pelangi Resort.

Catering to guests who enjoy water activities as well as those who are afraid of the water, similar to yours truly, Redang Pelangi was established in 1990 to serve a vast range of tourists from near and far.

Promising a memorable stay, whether you are in Redang for snorkelling, scuba diving, or just romantic long walks along the beach, you certainly will be mesmerised by what the coral-fringed island has to offer, all within a stone’s throw from the resort.

Value-for-money Full Board Packages are offered by Redang Pelangi Resort, with 3D/2N stays priced from RM500+ per person, being the most popular. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, plus dinner (all Halal) are included. Guests are well-fed ’til fat-fat, especially those who do not participate in any water activities that burn off calories faster than a speeding bullet.
A highlight of Redang Pelangi is its 24-hour free flow of coffee, tea and water; being most delightful because guests need not spend unnecessarily to keep themselves hydrated throughout the day.

3D/2N Full Board Package includes:
Guests who take the 4D/3N package will enjoy a complimentary boat trip to a turtle sanctuary at Chagar Hutang during the nesting season from May until August.

From the moment we arrived at Redang Pelangi’s private jetty in Merang for a speedboat transfer to Redang Island, to check-in, and at the end of our stay when we transferred to Merang again, there was only one word to describe the process: systematic.

The staff at Redang Pelangi are friendly, like a family away from home. Whether resort staff members, F&B crew, or those who manage the Dive Centre, all of them ensured that all our needs were well taken care of.
Currently, there are 32 units of suites, with three different configurations: Deluxe King for 2 guests, Deluxe Triple for 3, and Deluxe Quad for 4. Some of these suites come with connecting doors. By the third quarter of this year, a new block of accommodation will be ready, expanding the number of suites from 32 to a total of 50.
Standard amenities such as air-conditioning, a hairdryer, and a safety box are available. Each suite also comes with a clothes drying rack for the convenience of guests. Do bring along your clothes pegs, as these are not provided and the wind can be strong.

Also not provided is the television set. Who requires TV entertainment when there are more interesting things to do in Redang, including being serenaded by the live band in the bistro at night.

While snorkelling is the primary activity for most guests, Redang Island offers more than 20 interesting dive sites for scuba divers. Check the diving services and courses offered by Redang Pelangi Resort here.
