For not one, not two but eleven consecutive nights from 21st until 31st October 2022 (7.30pm – 11pm), you are invited to scream your lungs out at Sunway Lost World of Tambun’s Screamfest: Rise of the Zombies. What’s Screamfest: Rise of the Zombies?
Indulge yourself in SIX spooky attractions, FIVE captivating performances and a host of family-friendly albeit spine-chilling activities. This first edition of Screamfest is touted to be the best horror fest in the city, if not the country. You certainly know the high standards of Sunway Lost World of Tambun. They always do it well, do it grand and for Halloween, they will scare the living daylights out of you.

Building upon the success of “Day of the Dead” back in 2019 pre-COVID-19, the theme park not only continues to share its bizarre exploits, but the team is back better and stronger, with elevated offerings, to appease the hunger of horror enthusiasts.

According to Nurul Nuzairi, General Manager of the property, “The concept for this year’s Halloween is heavily influenced by regional mythical lore, alongside creatures from Western media. Screamfest: Rise of the Zombies will be available for 11 nights, in light of massive public interest. We are delighted to have the support of the local community, who have come forward to take on the roles of these netherworld characters.”

The six spooky attractions are Curse of the Deviants, Haunted Chamers: Zombie vs. Pontianak, Witch’s Alley, Reaper’s Passage, Evac Express and Lupe’s Adventure – Spooky Ride.

Pocong, Pontianak, Zombies, Ghosts, and more will be ganging up against YOU! Be afraid, be very afraid, but you will be guaranteed a bloody, good time!

Time allocation
Due to the strict terms of the park, allocate at least three hours to enjoy the attractions that are in store this Halloween that includes world-class performances. Screamfest begins at 7.30pm and ends at 11pm nightly for eleven nights from 21st until 31st October 2022.

Q: Can I wear a costume / mask / makeup?
A: No costumes, masks or full-face makeup are permitted at the event. Costumed visitors will be turned away at the entrance.

Q: Is there an age restriction for the event?
A: No. However, this event may be too intense for young children under the age of 13. Please read the terms and conditions before booking your tickets as there will be no refunds granted.

Q: Can I leave the event and come back later?
A: Re-entries are NOT permitted

Q: Will the event continue in case of bad weather?
A: Yes, the event will take place come rain or shine. There will be no refunds.

Q: Will the regular rides and attractions be open?
A: Yes, your favourite rides and attractions will remain open throughout the event!

A: Adult tickets are priced at RM93 and child tickets are priced at RM80. For MyKad holders, the tickets will be priced at RM77.50 (adult) and RM66.50 (child) respectively.
