Tourism Malaysia Northern Region Product Update-cum-Networking in Ipoh
Five owners of new tourism products (0 – 7 years old) were invited by Tourism Malaysia Northern Region to Ipoh to present their properties to players in the industry for product updates and networking.

Hosted at Symphony Suites Hotel, the participants comprised some one hundred hoteliers, travel agents, and other tourism players. They had the superb opportunity to keep abreast with development in the tourism sector, which has undergone tremendous changes, particularly post-COVID-19.

This business-to-business session was organised by Tourism Malaysia (also known as Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board) Northern Region to spur the domestic tourism sector during this endemic phase. It was part of the series of sessions that was successfully hosted previously in Penang, Kedah and Perlis. This series aims to support MOTAC’s (Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia) target to receive 9.2 million visitors with tourism receipts of RM26.8 billion in 2022.
