Santapan Iftar Nusantara MH Hotel Ipoh: Buka Puasa with Flavour and Warmth
This year, MH Hotel Ipoh invites guests to experience that familiar sense of togetherness through its Santapan Iftar Nusantara Ramadan Buffet Dinner 2026, a thoughtfully curated spread that celebrates regional flavours while remaining refreshingly affordable.

Taking place from 20th February to 19th March 2026, from 6.30pm to 10pm at the MH Grand Ballroom on Level 5, the buffet promises more than just an abundant selection of dishes. It presents a comfortable, welcoming venue to break fast in the heart of Ipoh.

Affordable Pricing
In a year where dining out can easily strain the budget, MH Hotel Ipoh has chosen to keep its Ramadan buffet accessible. Adults are priced at RM58.80 nett per person, while senior citizens aged 60 and above enjoy a rate of RM51.80 nett. The child rate for those aged four to twelve has been lowered to RM44.80 nett, and a dedicated OKU rate is also set at RM44.80 nett.

For a star-rated hotel in Ipoh city centre, these rates are notably reasonable. The hotel has also introduced a group promotion for a minimum of 30 guests, bringing the adult rate down to RM55 nett and senior citizens to RM48.80 nett. It is a practical option for companies planning department Iftar dinners or extended families hoping to dine together without worrying about escalating costs.

A Rotating Celebration of Nusantara Cuisine
The culinary direction is led by Chef Gosti Mohammad Firdaos and Chef Syamil, who have designed four rotating menus throughout the month of Ramadan. Each menu features more than 50 items, ensuring that the selection remains varied and interesting, even for repeat visits.

The emphasis is on Nusantara cuisine, drawing inspiration from Malaysia and neighbouring regions known for bold spices, fragrant herbs, besides comforting cooking styles. Rather than presenting a predictable lineup, the chefs have curated menus that are rooted in heritage plus generosity in servings.

Signature Dishes
Among the many offerings, several dishes naturally stand out. The Sup Tulang Kambing Nusantara delivers a rich, slow-simmered broth that feels restorative after a day of fasting. Its beef counterpart, Sup Tulang Daging Berdengung, is equally robust, presenting depth and warmth in every spoonful.
The Gerai Bakar-Bakar station adds flavour to the evening, with meats grilled fresh and served hot. The Kambing Bakar Rempah Satee is fragrant and tender, while the Ayam Bakar Madu Borneo offers a pleasing balance of savoury notes and gentle sweetness.

A highlight for many diners is the Nasi Arab Kabsah served with saffron egg and lamb leg, a dish that combines aromatic rice with beautifully prepared lamb. For those who favour traditional Malay tastes, the Itik Masak Lemak Aroma Salai provides creamy richness layered with a subtle smoky character.
Beyond these signatures, the buffet stretches across appetisers, rice and noodle dishes, local favourites, plus a colourful array of traditional kuih besides desserts. With more than 50 selections in each rotating menu, diners are unlikely to leave without discovering a personal favourite.

Convenience Under One Roof
The MH Grand Ballroom provides a spacious and air-conditioned setting that accommodates both small and large groups comfortably. The layout allows for smooth movement between buffet stations, even during peak times.

One of the most appreciated features is the availability of surau facilities within the hotel. Separate prayer rooms for men and women can accommodate up to 100 people, allowing guests to perform their prayers conveniently without stepping outside the premises. It is a thoughtful touch that enhances the overall Iftar experience.

The hotel’s kitchen is Halal certified, providing reassurance for Muslim diners. The presence of recognised standards, including BeSS, further reflects the hotel’s commitment to quality and compliance.

A Balance of Value and Variety
Santapan Iftar Nusantara 2026 stands out because it focuses on meaningful elements that matter during Ramadan: fair pricing, generous variety, comforting flavours, and practical facilities.

For families seeking a relaxed venue, friends planning a reunion, or companies organising a large-scale Iftar dinner in Ipoh, MH Hotel Ipoh has created a setting where conversations flow easily, and the spirit of Ramadan can truly be felt.
