Majlis Tautan Kasih Ramadan 2026

On 24th February 2026, Hotel Casuarina@Meru in Ipoh hosted its annual Ramadan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Majlis Tautan Kasih Ramadan.

A meaningful fixture in the hotel’s calendar, this yearly gathering reflects more than a community outreach enthusiasm. It expresses a genuine belief that hospitality should extend to the wider community.

An Evening of Belonging

This year, 55 orphaned children were invited to break fast in an atmosphere designed not just to serve, but to honour.

The event hosted:

25 children from Pertubuhan Baitul Aini Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Ipoh, under the stewardship of Datin Noraini

15 children from Pertubuhan Badan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Darussalam, led by Cik Neng binti Razali

15 pupils from Sekolah Kebangsaan Muhammad Saman, accompanied by Cikgu Rohaila

Corporate social responsibility often appears as a headline or an annual report entry. However, here it felt alive and personal.

The team at Hotel Casuarina@Meru did not simply host an event. They created an environment where connection could flourish. Staff members engaged with the children, shared meals alongside them and ensured that each one felt included.

In the context of Ramadan, a month centred on reflection, gratitude and generosity, this dynamism served as a bridge between intention and action. It demonstrated how businesses in Ipoh can play an active role in nurturing compassion within the community.

Following the breaking of fast, contributions were presented to the children, as well as the three organisations.

Majlis Tautan Kasih Ramadan 2026 indicates that meaningful impact does not come from grand speeches or elaborate ceremonies, but from sincerity.

Pusaka Rasa Warisan: A Buffet that Celebrates Heritage

Hotel Casuarina@Meru Ramadan highlight is the Bufet Santapan Ramadan ‘Pusaka Rasa Warisan’.

With more than 120 dishes on offer, the buffet pays homage to time-honoured Malay recipes, Nusantara influences, and Middle Eastern flavours. The concept leans heavily into tradition, with warung-style stations and recipes inspired by heritage kitchens.
