Selera Sutera: A Refined Ramadan Buffet Experience at MÙ Hotel Ipoh
Ramadan is a season of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. One of the things that bring people closer is a table filled with comforting food. This year, Selera Sutera: A Journey of Flavours at MÙ Hotel Ipoh invites diners to rediscover the richness of Malay cuisine in a setting that is warm, personal, and thoughtfully curated.

Rather than chasing extravagance, Selera Sutera focuses on authentic flavours, careful preparation, and a refined dining experience. After all, Selera speaks of appetite and preferences, while Sutera suggests smoothness and elegance. Together, they reflect a buffet concept steeped in traditional Malay cooking with contemporary touches.
Here, heritage recipes are respected, polished, and presented with quiet confidence, allowing the essence of each dish to shine.

Ramadan Head Chef
Leading the kitchen is Chef Ayie Sani, a culinary professional with more than ten years of experience in hotel environments. Having worked across several properties, he brings strong operational expertise and a deep appreciation for Malaysian flavours.

As the Head Chef for Selera Sutera, he carefully crafts menus that strike a balance between familiarity and finesse. His philosophy is clear. Food must be comforting, but it must also reflect quality and attention to detail.
Therefore, Selera Sutera is anchored by dishes that resonate deeply with Malaysian palates.

Signature Kambing Perap Bakar MÙ
Marinated with care and flame-grilled to achieve a smoky, lightly charred finish, this lamb dish is hearty without being overwhelming, exactly what diners look forward to at Iftar.
Sup Kambing Mamak
Rich with spices, this soup offers depth and delight in every spoonful. It is a classic that begins to satisfy from the very first sip.

Ayam Reneh Masak Opor
Slowly simmered in fragrant coconut gravy, this traditional favourite delivers gentle richness and nostalgic appeal.
Meanwhile, Selera Sutera Ramadan Buffet features three menus on daily rotation, each presenting a minimum of 50 delectable dishes. This ensures variety across multiple visits while maintaining quality control.

Guests can also expect live Char Kuey Teow, freshly prepared barbecue and grilled selections, along with a classic Ais Kacang station for a sweet and invigorating finale.
The experience feels abundant but not chaotic, which makes it a refreshing change from overly crowded spreads.

An Intimate Setting for Meaningful Gatherings
MÙ Hotel Ipoh’s coffee house accommodates up to 100 guests, creating an atmosphere that is well suited for family Iftar gatherings, corporate Ramadan dinners, and small celebrations with friends.
The scale allows for attentive services and a more relaxed pace, making the occasion feel personal rather than rushed.
