Let's Grant These Children Their Wishes

It is said that a dream is a wish the heart makes. Therefore, for the 9th consecutive year, Ipoh Parade is leading Christmas celebrations with the “Grant A Wish Christmas Campaign” to make the festive season more inclusive and meaningful for marginalised kids at children’s homes in and around Ipoh.

To make this event successful, Ipoh Parade is calling upon members of the public to fulfil the wishes of these underprivileged children, currently posted on the Grant A Wish Board at the concourse area (Ground Floor) of Ipoh Parade shopping mall.

This year’s campaign will benefit 181 children from eight homes in Perak: Pertubuhan Pengurusan Jagaan 1 Malaysia Perak, The Salvation Army Ipoh Children’s Home, Pertubuhan Pengurusan Rumah Anak-anak Yatim Dan Miskin ‘Anning’ Ipoh Perak, Precious Gift Home, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Harapan Baru, The Salvation Army Ipoh Boys’ Home, Vision Home, and Rainbow Children’s Home.

Over the past eight years, this Christmas programme by Ipoh Parade had received positive response from shoppers and public alike. This year, the management hopes that the support continues, so that Christmas cheer will spread to the children.

Whether it is a new gift, a preloved item or cash donation, contribution to the cause from all supporters certainly makes an impact on the success of this campaign, creating remarkable memories for the recipients.
