Reminisce the Sweet Blessing of the Year @ Ipoh Parade
Ipoh Parade has launched the Christmas Festivities recently with a host of activities for its shoppers. Themed “Candy Wonderland, A Sweet Christmas”, the mall is decorated with giant candy canes and lollipops. The ambience can’t be any sweeter, comprising a gingerbread house and a giant magical shoe which made up the centrepiece at the Main Atrium @ Ground Level of the Mall. Shoppers are seen queuing up to etch their sweet memories at the mall in photographs. Throughout all the weekends of December, Santa and Santarina will make an appearance and clown on unicycle, distributing candies and balloons. Besides, on Christmas Day, there will also be Christmas Face Painting and Cotton Candies giveaways.
During the weekend launch, children were occupied with a series of station games at the venue. New to the mall this year were the Floating Statue and Blanko The White Statue, which enthralled shoppers, children and adults alike. Also attracted full attention from the crowd were the magic show and balloon clown performance. The other performances include Christmas Hip Hop dance along with Latin dance presentation.
The highlight of the launch was the enchanting Christmas Costumes Competition for some 14 children from around Ipoh. All of them unleashed their creativity by transforming into a cute Christmas Tree, Little Santa or Christmas Fairies, which won the hearts of the audience and judges.

In conjunction with Christmas celebration, Ipoh Parade for the 10th year, organised the “Grant a Wish” activities to collect presents for 187 children from 8 homes in Ipoh. The children’s wish lists are displayed on the “Grant a Wish” board at the Atrium near the Information Counter. Shoppers who wish to donate and realise a child’s wish may drop their gifts or donation at the Information Counter. On 28th December, the children will be invited to spend a fun-filled day at the mall, where they will get to watch a movie and presented with the gifts they wanted.
Ipoh Parade also rewards shoppers who spend at the mall during this Christmas season with an exclusive water bottle with sleeve. “Shoppers are able to redeem one water bottle when they spend RM188 from now until 25th December,” said Lim Huey Tyng, Assistant Manager, Advertising and Promotions Ipoh Parade. “There are 4 different colours to be collected from time to time.”
