A Merry & Bright Christmas at Ipoh Parade
Mall Spreads Christmas Cheer and Sprinkles a Glimmer of Hope Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic gloom, Christmas celebration at Ipoh Parade mall this year remained a merry and bright affair. Themed ‘A Sparkling Christmas’, visitors to the mall’s atrium over the weekend of December 19 and 20 were greeted by the sight of sparkly silver and gold baubles, proud reindeers, as well as a grove of golden Christmas trees – all to usher in the most wonderful time of the year.

Ipoh Parade Advertising & Promotions Assistant Manager Lim Huey Tyng said the mall arrived at the Christmas theme for this year to spread joy and sprinkle a glimmer of hope to everyone’s life amid the ongoing pandemic.
“2020 has been a challenging year for many of us, but we want to encourage everybody to continue to persevere, and to have faith that better days are ahead,” commented Lim.
The two-day Christmas celebration was accentuated with a series of enthralling Christmas activities that include an Arts & Crafts Workshop, a Mascot Party, Gingerbread Man Cookies Baking Workshop, Station Games and Spin & Win Contest. On top of that, shoppers were also treated to entrancing performances such as the Christmas Hip Hop Dance as well as Latin & Salsa Fusion Dance.
“Christmas celebration this year in Ipoh Parade is a wee bit different as the mall is obliged to observe and exercise the necessary precautionary measures in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Having said that, I am particularly grateful to all visitors who have adhered to the CMCO SOPs; this celebration wouldn’t be made possible without all of your kind cooperation,” expressed Lim.

In line with the festive season, the mall is also rewarding shoppers with a sweet set of Christmas tea cups which have been fast running out as the response has been overwhelming.
