Mall dispels fears and spreads cheer with a glittery ensemble.
Despite the challenges brought upon us by the COVID-19 pandemic, Christmas this year at Ipoh Parade Mall remains a sight to behold. Themed ‘A Sparkling Christmas’, visitors to the mall’s atrium will be greeted by the sight of sparkly silver and gold baubles, proud reindeers, as well as a grove of golden Christmas trees – all to usher in the most wonderful time of the year.
According to Ipoh Parade Advertising & Promotions Assistant Manager Lim Huey Tyng, the mall decided on the Christmas theme for this year to spread joy plus sprinkle a glimmer of hope to everyone’s life amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “Despite the shadow of the pandemic that hangs heavy over this year’s festivities, we want to encourage the public to continue to persevere, and to trust that better days are ahead,” commented Lim.
To welcome the Yuletide season, Ipoh Parade is inviting the public to participate in its series of fascinating activities slated for the weekend of 19th and 20th December. Among the pursuits lined up for children include an Arts & Crafts Workshop, a Mascot Party, Gingerbread Man Cookies Baking Workshop, Station Games and Spin & Win Contest. Dance enthusiasts can also drop by the mall on both days for the Christmas Hip Hop Dance as well as Latin and Salsa Fusion dance performances.
“We are fully aware of the collective concern surrounding crowds during festivals like this, but we will take every precaution so that everyone can celebrate Christmas at Ipoh Parade safely. Of course, this would only be possible with everyone’s cooperation by adhering to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),” commented Lim.
On top of that, the mall is also rewarding its shoppers with a sweet set of Christmas tea cups. “From now until 1st January next year, shoppers who spend a minimum of RM118 in a maximum of two receipts will be eligible to redeem one sweet Christmas tea cup set. This exclusive tea cup set that comes in four different colours are limited in number, so quickly embark on your shopping spree here at Ipoh Parade and collect them all!” added Lim.
