The inaugural IDR Press & Bloggers Appreciation Night was a fun-filled evening; an opportunity for us to socialise, without having to worry about the delivery of news! Besides filling our stomach with a scrumptious halal buffet-style meal, some lucky guests were rewarded with iPod Touch, iPad 2 and gift hampers in appreciation of their hard work in covering IDR and Perak Amanjaya functions over the past year.

The event, which stretched through the night, was enjoyed by one and all, I dare say, especially when IDR’s very own in-house band, fronted by Kiki, with her powerful vocals, took the stage. Guests were encouraged to perform, after IDR CEO joined the band and showcased his guitar-playing skills.

The night wrapped up with karaoke singing by media friends, who took turns to display their hidden talents at the microphone.
