Welcome Dinner for Officials & Players 2017 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup
A special welcome dinner was hosted at Impiana Hotel Ipoh for officials and players of the 2017 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, an annual invitational international men’s field hockey played in Ipoh, Malaysia.
The scrumptious buffet dinner at the hotel’s ballroom was accompanied by live entertainment on stage throughout the evening.
It was a no-frills dinner as the teams are here with only one focus on their mind: to lift the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup! Competition is keen as all six nations are qualified to play in the Hockey World League Semi-Finals.
Compared to last year’s silver jubilee celebration, this year’s was more laid-back. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable evening away from the pitch.
