Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival With Self-Made Snow Skin Mooncake
A snow skin mooncake-making workshop was conducted by Au Young Events. Participants of all ages and races eagerly participated in the 1+ hour workshop, going hands on to create their own snow skin mooncakes to celebrate this upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.
The family-centric activity induced plenty of laughter all ’round, especially when the delicacies, also known as Chinese Crystal Mooncakes, did not turn out as expected.
The best thing about baking snow skin mooncakes is that no oven or stove is required. Just mix the dough with water and cool the cake in a freezer. Therefore, it is child-safe and young children can join in the fun as well.
