Dim Sum Buffet Lunch at Ipoh WEIL Hotel Yuk Sou Hin Chinese Restaurant is available daily from now until 20th September, 11am ’til 2.30pm. Price is RM48 adult and RM38 child (4-12 years)*.
While lunching on dim sum, you are free to add variety and flavour to your meal by ordering from the à la carte menu, at a separate charge. There are a number of chef’s selections that come highly recommended. One of them is the Signature Smoked Duck with Lychee Wood.
Preparing the fowl takes hours, before it is finally smoked with lychee wood that’s imported from China, to bring out its full-bodied aroma. The tender and juicy duck meat with crispy skin is best enjoyed as it is, but can also be complemented with house-made sour plum sauce.
As we are about to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, it is appropriate to wrap up your meal with Yuk Sou Hin’s own selection of mooncakes as desserts. Whether you prefer traditional-style or contemporary snow skin (ping pei) mooncakes, they definitely add colour to your lunch.
The four available options are Durian Snow Skin, White Lotus Paste with Macadamia Nut in Gold Dust Snow Skin, Custard Paste with Single Yolk, and White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk.
A step up from the mass market snow skin mooncakes, these traditional biscuits by Yuk Sou Hin uses flour specially imported from Taiwan, hence they have the springy feel to every bite.
If you wish to purchase these mooncakes as gifts for your family, friends or associates, these mooncakes come in the most intricate gift packing in the form of gold-dust jewellery box.
Premium Mooncake Set with six pieces, is priced at RM138 per box, while Deluxe Mooncake Set (3 pieces mooncake + 3 packets Pagoda peanuts) is RM108 /box.
