6) Singapore Street Art / Public Art
The street art scene is growing in Singapore and if you love art, this would be right up your alley. During my holiday in Singapore, I managed to track down the street art by famed Lithuanian artist, Ernest Zacharevic, as well as the Art in Transit public artworks along the North East and Circle MRT Lines.
The Downtown Line is also included in the Art in Transit public art programme but since the MRT route is not completed yet, I did not check out the art at the stations along that line.
Then there are those in Little India and even more colourful wall murals along the underpass in Boat Quay but all these were just what I had time for, despite spending six days in Singapore!
Searching them out is an interesting activity, and it is free!
