Museums usually charge a small admission fee to cover their costs, particularly if you are not a citizen or Permanent Resident. While some museums are free, like the SGH Museum, others are only “open to all” at certain days and times.

Most other museums under the National Heritage Board Museums are open to the public for free on “Open House” days – usually means New Year’s Day, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Singapore National Day, Deepavali and Christmas Day.
