For visitors who would like a deeper understanding of the places they visit, they can join a walking tour.
DUCK & HiPPO, a local tour company, offers free (tipping required) walking tours for Little India and Chinatown.
The Chinatown Chinatown Walking Tour takes visitors to discover the rich cultural history up close and personal. Highlights are: Chinatown Heritage Centre in Pagoda Street, Sri Mariamman Temple (oldest Hindu Temple in Singapore), Old Lai Chun Yuen Opera House and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Sago Street.

Meeting/Registration Point: 48, Pagoda Street, Chinatown.
Time: 2.30pm – 5pm (Mon / Wed / Fri – except public holidays)
Duration: 2.5 hours
How to get there?:
The nearest MRT Station is Chinatown (Downtown Line / North East Line).
The Little India Walking Tour offers a similar experience to discover the rich cultural history of the area. Highlights are: Little India Arcade, Thaudapani Spice Shop, Mustafa Shopping Centre (opens 24 hours a day) and the Sri Veeramakaliamman Hindu temple.
Little India Walk
Meeting/Registration Point: The Verge main entrance
Add: 2, Serangoon Road, Little India.
Time: 10.30am – 1pm (Tues / Thurs / Sat – except public holidays)
Duration: 2.5 hours

The nearest MRT Station is Little India (North East Line). Take Exit E.

Another free (tipping required) walking tour is provided by Singapore Footprints. Available every Saturday and Sunday, the tour explores various attractions such as the heritage areas of Bugis and Bras Basah, also to discover other points of interest along the Singapore River banks.

I love Singapore! I’ve been there once and I witness the Marina Bay being build so yeah that was exciting. I would love to visit again there and hopefully I don’t forget to get a Singapore Tourist Pass 😀 lol
