The First Slam Dunk: Ipoh Fans Movie Gathering

Almost 300 basketball fans gathered at GSC Ipoh Parade this afternoon to watch the epic “The First Slam Dunk” movie, organised by YB Ong Boon Piow, State Assemblyperson (ADUN) for Bercham and his Team DAP Bercham.

Guest-of-honour was YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital of Malaysia (also Member of Parliament for Kulai), who purposely made time amidst her busy schedule for this activity to support the initiative. It was a refreshing break from her hectic day to indulge in the movie as she was a huge fan, too.

YB Teo was accompanied by ADUN Pasir Pinji YB Goh See Hua and ADUN Keranji YB Angeline Koo Haai Yen, both members of the Perak State Legislative Assembly. The First Slam Dunk movie fans took the opportunity to take photos with YB Teo, while some requested her autograph, like a celebrity.
