Thaipusam Night Bazaar @ Little India, Ipoh

Going to Little India last night for its night bazaar in conjunction with Thaipusam wasn’t a very wise decision as I was caught in a massive traffic jam for more than 30 minutes. In fact, on my way home, there were three stretches of road where I got stuck in. My, what a long night!

And yet, it is with pleasure that I bring you this series of photos that I took at the Thaipusam night bazaar in Little India, Ipoh. Although, to me, it mostly felt like an Indian-centric pasar malam (night market), there were still some things that stood out, that we could only see perhaps twice a year; during Thaipusam and Deepavali.
