SUB Beauty Eco-Fashion Show

Some thirty young ladies, all students of SUB International School of Beauty and Make-Up, took up the challenge to stage a fashion show in conjunction with Earth Day, which is observed on April 22 annually.
With the guidance of the school’s tutors, these students designed and put together their dresses, using “green” or “eco-friendly” materials.
There were four categories of fashion: aluminium foil, Chanel flower, colourful theme and paper cup, all conforming to the green theme.
According to the General Manager of SUB Beauty Carrie Lam, although fashion is not part of the main curriculum of the school, the students were excited to involve themselves in this awareness campaign to help preserve Mother Nature.
She said, “Despite the tight deadline, our students jumped right in and only needed a week to prepare. However, the newer batch of students were assisted by their seniors for hairdo and make-up.”
Check out these photos that I am sharing and be impressed with their creativity.
