Miss Malaysia Earth 2015
Admist loud cheers and thunderous claps from friends and supporters, 24 gorgeous ladies, finalists of the Miss Malaysia Earth 2015 took to the stage in Ipoh to try their best to capture the hearts of the judges and be crowned the queen.
By the end of the four-hour intensive competition, which saw the ladies parade in colourful traditional wear, thematic outfits by designer Sonny Foo, creative eco-friendly dresses and resplendent evening gowns, Miss Malaysia Earth 2015 was declared.
Standing tallest among all the finalists at 182cm, she is none other than Danielle Wong Kar Wai, a student majoring in Bachelor of Business Administration, yet with an ambition to be a supermodel.
The Malacca lass will be heading to Vienna, Austria at the end of this year to compete against some 90 other representatives of Miss Earth from around the world.
This annual Miss Earth pageant is said to be the third most glamorous in the world after Miss Universe and Miss World. Therefore, competition is expected to be stiff.
Besides the main title, runners-up were presented with titles named after other natural elements such as Miss Fire, Miss Water and Miss Air. Miss Earth is the only pageant with individual titles for runners-up.
