Snow Carnival in Ipoh’s Very Own Manhattan!
What are your plans for this Saturday (17th Dec, 2016)? Mark your calendar cos it is going to be a fantastic time spent with family and friends at Ipoh’s Manhattan. What? Where? You know, the huge development project known as Manhattan District in the heart of Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh?
Yes, there will be a snow carnival in conjunction with Christmas. This Winter Wonderland will be much looked forward to not only by children but also adults. I dare bet!
Everyone is welcome to the event; it is free for all. In fact, we are encouraged to bring our children along and don’t forget those swimsuits as we get to play in the water park, all for free! I can’t swim but dang, I await eagerly to play those water park games that have been lined up for us.
Another major highlight of the snow carnival is the lighting ceremony of the Statue of Liberty. We no longer have to make our way to New York just to take a shot of the statue. Come to Ipoh and pose with the replica. Your photos will be just as awesome!
Transforming this part of Ipoh into Winter Wonderland is not just to give us a White Christmas.
It is also in conjunction with the launch of Phase 2 of Manhattan District, an integrated mixed development project by Miclebina Properties Sdn.Bhd., that sits on sixteen acres of prime freehold land. This development boasts the first water park condominium in Malaysia.
Other goodies awaiting visitors this Saturday include the appearance of ol’ St. Nick (Santa Claus lah) and carnival-style entertainment like juggling as well as magic shows.
Indulge in a variety of complimentary food and drinks, while you wait to see if you have Lady Luck smiling upon you and take home some cool prizes either via lucky draws or in the Snap & Win contest. How about both?
This funtastic carnival, which begins at 7pm will culminate with a glorious fireworks display at about 9.45pm. What an event it will be! See you there!

Sounds like a fun event bringing Statue of the Liberty to Ipoh =D too bad i will not be in Ipoh at that time =( will pay a visit when i visit ipoh!
