Shila Amzah to Light Up Genting’s Arena of Stars with “My Journey” Concert this August
Dubbed “Asia’s Sweetheart”, singer extraordinaire Shila Amzah will soon light up Resorts World Genting’s Arena of Stars this August 26 (Saturday) at 8.30pm.
The award-winning artiste, who is a household name not only in her home country of Malaysia but also in highly competitive markets of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan has named her concert “My Journey”, which is the title of her latest album.
Shila will be rendering some of her biggest hits that have won her international acclaim, showcasing her unique brand of music and versatility in her voice as well as style.
“My Journey” has a befitting concept that highlights the milestones that Shila has chalked up thus far in the international music world, from the very beginning as a budding singer, to date, staging her second concert in Malaysia.
The many accolades that have been bestowed upon Shila that confirm her status in the international Mandopop industry include:

*Female Artiste of the Year (Hong Kong and Taiwan) at the 2015 Guangzhou Music Awards, and
*Best Female Singer (Hong Kong and Taiwan) at the 2016 Music Pioneer Awards.
Shila was nominated World’s Best Female Artiste at the World Music Award in 2012. The following year, she was honoured at the 20th Malaysian Music Awards with the Kembara Award (International Music Breakthrough Award).
It is awarded to Malaysian artistes who have performed internationally and have helped promote Malaysian songs to the world. Shila, at 26 then was the youngest honoree, after being crowned champion of Asian Wave (2012), a reality Chinese singing competition hosted in Shanghai.
In view of her popularity and international influence, Shila was appointed Malaysia’s Tourism Ambassador last year, where she promotes the country to her fans through music. Not surprisingly, her other honorific titles are: “Princess of Music” and “National Treasure of Malaysia”.
Despite her young age, Shila, whose real name is NurShahila binti Amir Amzah, is also a songwriter, record producer, actress and entrepreneur, all rolled into one.

Nice! She really is successful and great representative of Malaysia to the world.
Really nice! Thanks for sharing
Didn’t know that she would be performing at Genting until I read your blog.. Thanks for the info!
The price is quite ok. Not too expensive. I love her songs.
oooo! i havent seen her in a while now. I have a friend who loves her. Will send your link to her. hehe
She is gorgeous, I bet her voice is beautiful as well. You know what, we never have a Muslimah singer getting famous here in the Philippines. And that’s saddened me.
Emily pergi ke nanti? Bestnya!!! Suara dia dah lah best! Mesti all out dia nyanyi! Meremang bulu roma! For sure!
Belum tentu lagi, Ruby. Kena cari kaki dari Ipoh. HAHAHA
I saw her poster when I visit Genting! I always admire her talent of singing skill! She is soo good in singing.
Shila is such an inspiration – my friends even tried to memorize her Mandarin songs and made us call her Shila just because she loves her very much.
