John Legend Live in Concert @ Resorts World Genting

Stop press! 10-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and actor, John Legend, will be performing live at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on 17th March, 2018 at 8.30pm, as part of his Darkness and Light World Tour, to support his fifth album of the same title.

Although Malaysians are no stranger to John Legend after his remarkable two visits, this upcoming concert is his maiden performance at Genting. What makes this all the more extraordinary is that, this is his only stop in Malaysia, of his ten-date Asia leg.

Darkness and Light tour began in May 2017 and has taken Legend and his entourage from North America to Europe, South Africa and shortly, Asia.

Legend’s band includes a second keyboardist, a guitarist and bassist, a drummer, a percussionist and three supporting vocalists.

While the concert setlist is still very much under wraps, fans can expect to be entertained by some of Legend’s biggest hits, such as Used to Love U, All of Me, and the lead single from Darkness and Light, Love Me Now. All in all, it promises to be an energetic performance.

Darkness and Light album is Legend’s fifth album following Get Lifted, One Again, Evolver, and Love In The Future. Darkness and Light debuted in the Top 20 of the US Billboard 200 albums chart, and was streamed over 12 million times in its first week. The album has since sold an estimated 100,000 copies in the US alone.

The Darkness and Light world tour is Legend’s fifth concert tour, and his most extensive yet. Concert ticket prices start from RM366, but Genting Rewards members will enjoy a special discount. Tickets are subject to a RM4 processing fee.
