The second P.C.D.A. IT Fair was held last weekend for three days without much fanfare. It was duly launched by the guest of honour, Transport Minister Dato’ Seri Kong Cho Ha.

To be frank, I did not have a great expectation of this IT fair because it has just been a few months since the previous one. Between then and now, the device that I am waiting for, a Windows 8-powered tablet, is still not here yet. Anyway, I still needed to try to buy cheap printer ink, which I failed to do so previously.

Funnily, when I visited on the first morning of the fair, I ended up walking the grounds a few rounds because there were just more things to see than expected. The two products that stood out for me were the MagicScan and Sony’s Smart Watch. These weren’t what I need, but it was still interesting to see new products, just introduced into the market.
