Arrived at this Bercham night market while searching for Public Bank one recent Sunday evening and decided to stop by.

Well, the usual Sunday night market in Taman Cempaka has ceased operations, so this was a good change, or so I thought.

However, despite the many vendors, I think there are about 80, none impressed me. They are all offering common night market wares that customers may not be attracted to come by.

If I were to rank the night markets in the Ipoh circuit, I’d say the best is the one in Taman Ipoh Jaya (Mondays) and maybe followed by Taman SPPK (Thursdays) and Medan Ipoh (Tuesdays). The one in Stadium Perak (Wednesdays) seems to be dwindling.

If you have not been here yet, well, it is behind Pusat Makanan Sin Mao Fong (food court) and stretches right up to Bercham Public Bank along Persiaran Bercham Selatan 2.
