Exhibition: 35th Sultan of Perak HRH Sultan Nazrin Shah
This month-long exhibition which wraps up on June 4, 2015, is held in conjunction with the installation of the 35th Sultan of Perak, His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah on May 6.
The Ipoh Town Hall has been turned into a royal exhibition venue, with blown up photos, videos played on loop on large screen photos, and text in both Bahasa Malaysia and English for easy understanding and comprehension.
Suffice to say that all the exhibits are about Perak’s new Sultan from childhood until today, with documentation about family life, school life, adulthood, as a husband, father, and as a caring ruler of the State.
There are also large panels of newspaper archives and photo galleries with shots taken by news photographers.
This exhibition is worth a visit for anyone who has ever wondered about the duties of the Sultan of Perak, the Royal Regalia, or the Royal Standard.
Or maybe you’d just like to try your luck in the lucky draws? It is conducted daily, with hampers worth RM300 up for grabs.
