Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022: Cultivating Kindness Through Charitable Activities

It has always been stressed that Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022 is more than being beautiful. The objective of the pageant is three-pronged and calls for the promotion of tourism, culture, and friendship. These and more have been keeping the 16 finalists of the pageant busy in Perak, as they explore different tourist destinations as well as go hands-on in multiple activities every day since 16th Sept, 2022, the day of their arrival.

Even going beyond their duty as ambassadresses for their respective states as Miss Malaysia Tourism, the ladies have been involved in charitable activities. One of them included the distribution of food packs to the homeless community in the city, carried out in collaboration with Teduhan Kelana Perak, with support from generous sponsors.

Established about three years ago, Teduhan Kelana Perak, or in English Night Shelter for the Homeless, means just that – a non-profit organisation that offers a safe shelter for the homeless community in Perak state, should they need one.

Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022 is a prestigious 3-in-1 pageant. Cultivating a caring heart among the finalists is a positive move that will serve the ladies well as they move on in life post-pageant.
