Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant boasts a rich history that began in the 1990s, solidifying its enduring prestige within the Malaysian beauty pageant scene. Notably, it distinguishes itself by crowning three Miss Malaysia Tourism titleholders within a single pageant.

Also, through various initiatives such as promotional events, visits to tourist attractions, and charitable activities, the pageant goes beyond promoting Malaysia’s culture, tourism, and friendship — it actively contributes to various social causes. Activities like visits to the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund and Ti-Ratana under the “Miss Malaysia Tourism… Because We Care” campaign demonstrate a genuine dedication to nurturing compassion and empathy among the finalists.
