Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022: Promoting “Travel Perak Lah” to Malaysia and the World
The 16 finalists who are vying to be crowned this Friday at the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022 are spending nine days in Perak state, the host of the pageant, where three major titles are in contention:
1. Miss Malaysia Tourism 2022
2. Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2022
3. Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2022
Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant goes beyond being a “beauty queen” by looks as the objective of the pageant is to promote tourism, culture and friendship among the participating states, and then beyond the country as the winners proceed to participate in their respective World Finals which will be held later this year.
It’s a full schedule for these finalists from morning till night for the nine days, as they explore the tourism destinations of Perak, visit their sponsors, as well as prepare themselves for the final coronation on the evening of 23rd Sept 2022 at the Grand Ballroom of MH Hotel Ipoh.
This is an exciting mega event for Perak, as it is believed that there had never been a national beauty pageant title hosted in Perak before. Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022 is a prestigious three-in-one pageant, so it generates plenty of interest among fans of the finalists and also those who follow the development of beauty pageants.
As our country entered into the endemic phase in April 2022 and while businesses are trying to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 movement control measures, the tourism industry is no different, being one of the most negatively impacted. Therefore, Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2022, supported by Tourism Perak, is timely as an impetus for the state to give its tourism campaigns, both domestic and international, a much-needed boost.
