2024 Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant National Grand Final: 3 Miss Malaysia Tourism Queens Crowned
The highly anticipated Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2024 National Grand Final unfolded on 4th Sept 2024 at the prestigious Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Sixteen finalists, representing nine states, competed for three coveted titles in the presence of over 500 distinguished guests.
On an occasion filled with elegance, the following three contestants emerged victorious:
Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024 — Mathi Malarchelvi (Finalist No. 12)
Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of The Year 2024 — Wynwie Hilston Lai (Finalist No. 10)
Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2024 — Alysha De Cruz (Finalist No. 11)
In addition to the main titles, eight subsidiary titles were conferred, each award generously sponsored by pageant partners:
Miss GINTELL Wellness — Yong Ke Ling (Finalist No. 14)
Miss Tang Men Lifestyle — Alysha De Cruz (Finalist No. 11)
Miss Mayfair Beauty & Wellness — Alysha De Cruz (Finalist No. 11)
Miss Royal Scent Essence of Beauty — Wynwie Hilston Lai (Finalist No. 10)
Miss Le Bisou Glamour — Gisselle Ang (Finalist No. 8)
Best in Social Media — Verlyn Lee (Finalist No. 4)
Best in Talent — Aiiswariyaa (Finalist No. 15)
Malaysia Dreamgirl of the Year 2024 — Verlyn Lee (Finalist No. 4)
The pageant, organised by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd in partnership with MyShoppo Sdn Bhd, was unique in crowning three beauty queens in one evening.
The theme for this year’s event, “Tourism, Culture, and Friendship,” was reflected in the finalists’ activities leading up to the finale, including visits to local tourist attractions, sponsor showcases, and also a charity visit to Ti-Ratana Welfare Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
International Representation
Mathi Malarchelvi, as the newly crowned Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024, will represent Malaysia at the 27th Miss Tourism International 2024 World Final in December.
Malaysia will host the event for the 27th consecutive year, with over 50 countries expected to participate. The other two titleholders will also represent Malaysia at their respective international pageants next year.
Prizes for Winners
Alongside the honour of the titles, the winners received prizes worth over RM300,000.00, including cash, scholarships from Peninsula College for Diploma and UK Degree programmes, and more.
The evening’s grand finale marked another marvellous chapter in Malaysia’s celebration of beauty, tourism, and cultural diversity.
