Mini Pesta Kopi Draws Coffee Lovers in Large Numbers

As one of the programmes for Visit Ipoh Year 2023, the Ipoh City Council organised its first Mini Pesta Kopi at Lorong Seni @ Lorong Panglima in Ipoh, today. The event which began from 9am until 4pm, managed to attract approximately one thousand coffee lovers.

This mini coffee festival, which was in collaboration with local coffee traders, featured the participation of eight vendors. They were Pondok Kopi 68, Espresso Oii, Moffee Coffee Cafe, RellexKopi, Coffee Hour, Ngopdul, Bagirasa, besides Kopi & Bulan.

The event was inaugurated by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ahmad Hariri bin Kamarudin, who is an Ipoh City Councillor, as well as the council’s Tourism Sub-Committee Chairperson. He was joined by En Zulfifle Bin Jaafar Sidek (Ipoh City Council Senior Director for Services), and Pn Normala Latiff (Ipoh City Council Community Director).

Mini Pesta Kopi, which was held alongside the existing weekly art & craft bazaar at Lorong Seni @ Lorong Panglima, was enlivened with cultural performances by Gema Warisan Budaya, joined by Ipoh City Council staff.
