In the short term, for many organisations the transition to hybrid working will be focussed on the need to maintain their basic functions. Changing operational models and an increased reliance on technology will facilitate information sharing, the processing of tasks, monitoring outcomes, communicating online, etc.
However, over the medium and longer-term, operational models and the use of technology are rarely the elements that define successful organisations. Individuals feeling connected and engaged, strong cohesive teams that deliver creativity and productivity, and a culture aligned with strategic goals are the elements that position organisations for success.
