Couple Therapy with Pamela Seraskeris
Working therapeutically with intimate relationships in distress can be challenging work. Couple therapy is not simply individual therapy with more than one person. Working with multiple clients in the room requires a different approach to practice. In this webinar you will be introduced to the fundamental skills of couple therapy, explore the challenges of working with couples in conflict and the common issues they bring to therapy.
The webinar will provide an overview of core theoretical concepts and ideas for working with couples, and their application to practice, including:
• How to structure and conduct a couple session
• Skills in couple assessment, interviewing and intervention
• Ways to manage the therapeutic relationship
• Working remotely using digital technology in couple work
