Ipoh City Council Celebrates Birthday of Leapling & Other February Babies
The Ipoh City Council, headed by Mayor Dato’ Zamri Man and Council Secretary Mohd Zakuan Zakaria, celebrated the birthday of all staff born in the month of February.
The idea came when it was discovered that the council has among them a leapling; someone born on the leap day of February 29.
Ahmad Faizal Bin Ramli who is a general worker with the Engineering Department, was born in 1976. He started working with the Ipoh City Council in 1994 and has served for 22 years now.
The father of two from Taiping, was a former national rugby player and coach.
The special celebration was participated by 389 other February babies, all holding different positions within the council.

What a fun idea! I always find ppl born on 29th Feb quite different and lucky.
leap year babies get to celebrate birthdays only 4 years once… aren’t they just so unique….
