Established in 1996, HYPERSHOE is now a leading shoe retailer in Malaysia, at par with other shoemakers that have been in business for a longer time.
Since its first shoe retail store, located along Jalan Ipoh in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, the brand has grown from strength to strength; it now has 40 stores throughout the Klang Valley. Not only has HYPERSHOE expanded in terms of store count, its shoe quality and style have simultaneously seen a marked improvement since the early days in business. It is no wonder that HYPERSHOE is now the preferred brand of footwear among different segments of consumers, because of its comfort and striking designs.
HYPERSHOE is staffed by 200 employees, who are dedicated to the company’s vision of creating a caring society.
To this end, the company recently organised a charity programme by donating school shoes to 121 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Pendidikan Anak Kesayanganku, managed by Puan Nurul Baiti Sahrin.
HYPERSHOE managing director expressed hope that this contribution will cultivate a caring community, regardless of race and religion, besides extending a helping hand to the home to lessen their expenses.
“These children need our care and concern, too. With this gift, they can start their new school year in comfortable shoes,” he said. The amount allocated for this programme was RM10,000.
HYPERSHOE’s mission didn’t just end there, as the team once again organised another school shoe donation to Persatuan Belia Seri Cempaka in Kuala Lumpur, involving 147 children. The amount expended for this similarly joyous event was also RM10,000.
He said, “We are grateful to the secretary of Persatuan Belia Seri Cempaka, Syuja’uddin Bin Ismail for inviting us to participate in this charity programme. We are keen to join in to help create a caring society among us, beginning with our own staff.
“Through meaningful programmes like these, we can bring joy to the children, and in return, it makes us happy, too.”
