Cocoa Boutique: Malaysia’s Largest Chocolate Paradise

Known as Malaysia’s largest chocolate paradise, local specialty chocolate maker and retailer’s Cocoa Boutique & Chocolate Gallery offer tourists an opportunity to take home Made in Malaysia chocolates.

On the other hand, locals get to experience what is said to be ‘a true Malaysian indulgence’.

These photos I am sharing today were taken from my visit to the company’s flagship boutique at the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC) along Jalan Ampang in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

At this boutique, visitors are enlightened by knowledgeable guides on the historical origins of cocoa beans and the intricate art of producing fine chocolates.

They are also allowed to sample the many different types of chocolates, including Tongkat Ali, durian, curry and chilli chocolates! Obviously, at the end of the tour, it is difficult to resist picking up some of the chocolates home.
