The “Golden Prosperity” – Anyone Can Win Campaign is a Chinese New Year campaign initiated by ARA Asset Management Limited (“ARA”) to reward its loyal shoppers in conjunction with the festive celebration. It involved the participation of all four ARA retail malls, namely, Ipoh Parade, Klang Parade, CITTA Mall and 1 Mont Kiara. After a month-long campaign, a total of 80 big spender shoppers across all four malls were shortlisted to participate in the Mall Challenge event where they pitted their skills against one another in the Supermarket Rush and Mall Challenge activities. All participating shoppers could go home with sponsored prizes even when they did not win a place to the Grand Finals.
“We wanted to reward our loyal shoppers this festive season by making sure all who participated in the campaign walk away with something,” remarked June Lim, Country Head of Malaysia for ARA. “Hence, even those who aren’t in the Top 3 for the respective malls still may win attractive prizes, including groceries worth RM200 from our grocers”.
Following the mall challenge that was held concurrently at the four malls – CITTA Mall and Mont Kiara on February 1, Ipoh Parade and Klang Parade on February 2, three winners from each mall were selected to compete in a stage challenge at the final leg of the campaign, when the three gold bars will be given away.
At Ipoh Parade, the Supermarket Rush required participators to dash about at Jaya Grocer to pick up a list of items with retail value closest to RM200 within 188 seconds. Meanwhile, the mall challenge required competitors to complete the various challenges at four games stations located respectively at Molly Fantasy, Ogawa, Cosas United and Marrybrown, the mall’s tenants.
First place winner Yong, from Sungai Siput, Perak thanked the mall for organising the campaign and now that he has won the first place, he is over the moon and will be doing his best at the Grand Finals. “I look forward to participating in the Grand Finals this February 9 and I hope I can take home the gold bar,” said Yong, who was accompanied by his wife at the event.
Meanwhile, Yew, from Pasir Puteh, Perak who attended the mall challenge with his family members said he was glad to be shortlisted as one of the participators. He also commended on the mall’s initiative in holding the campaign, “I think this campaign is fantastic and the idea of rewarding shoppers during the festive season is brilliant.
