CNY Reunion Over Many Meal Options
Chinese New Year reunion dinners used to be only held on the eve of the Lunar New Year, and somehow, all family members have to rush home to be with their elders to sit down for a traditional meal. Well, thanks to a modern mindset, nowadays CNY reunion needn’t be conventional.
As long as family members come together to eat, that’s good enough, in my opinion, and it doesn’t have to be only once a year!
At Kinta Riverfront Hotel, there are a number of CNY reunion meal options offered to the modern family. Those who seek a traditional meal may still go for the Chinese New Year 9-course set, available at the hotel’s Zui Xin Lao Chinese Restaurant.
There are two menus to choose from, priced at RM888 and RM988 respectively. Each set comes with a complimentary bottle of red wine. This dinner is served from 4th to 19th February, which is good news for those who are unable to be back home on the eve of Chinese New Year, although on 4th Feb, which is the eve, guests will be serenaded by live Chinese orchestral music as they dine.
Small family groups will be delighted to know that they can still enjoy a memorable meal during Chinese New Year reunion evening, at the hotel’s Riverview Coffee House. This Chinese New Year Eve Buffet Dinner is only available on 4th February from 6.30pm until 10.30pm.

On the first and second day of the Lunar New Year, Riverview Coffee House is offering Chinese New Year Buffet Hi-Tea, from 12 noon until 4.30pm. The price is RM39 (adult), RM30 (senior) and RM19 (child).
