Christmas & New Year Celebrations @ Impiana Hotel Ipoh
Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa Claus is coming to town. If you are celebrating the Christmastide in Ipoh and looking for a decent dining place for a reunion with family and friends, maybe you should consider Impiana Hotel Ipoh’s Coffee House.
Today, I am bringing you photos of some of the items that will be made available on both the menus of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Highlights are the variety of fresh seafood platter on ice, such as mussels, prawns and oysters, chicken piccata with tomato creamy sauce, baked lamb shoulder served with caramelised onion, roasted duck with red cabbage in orange sauce, seafood parcel, stuffed macadamia quails, beef goulash, creme brulee, Christmas stollen cake, Christmas minced pie, Yule log cakes and more.
Besides the mains, diners of this buffet dinner can also look out for appetisers, salads, soup of the day, pasta and desserts. A live-action station will be set up where oven baked turkey, beef Wellington and whole reindeer will be served. These will be complemented with giblet, cranberry, mint, black pepper, mushroom, garlic and BBQ sauces. Other stalls serve pasta and ais kacang.
And if you have a sweet tooth, here is a chance for you to relish in a great variety of Christmas cakes, cookies and tarts, and an assortment of Crème brûlée and ice cream! This Christmas buffet dinner on 24th and 25th December is priced at RM88 nett per person (adult) and RM44 nett per child (6 – 12 years old).
Meanwhile, also at The Coffee House, Christmas hi-tea is available from December 25th – 28th, at RM48 nett per adult and RM24 nett per child (6 – 12 years old). Items to look out for on the menu are honey glazed chicken wing, boneless fish with breadcrumbs, stuffed pita bread with chicken and sweet pepper, smoked salmon spinach quiche, Shepherd’s pie and oven baked turkey.
Couple diners who prefer to enjoy the festive season in a more quiet manner may do so at the hotel’s Bistro. Christmas set dinners are available for two on both dates of 24th and 25th December, at RM220 nett per couple, inclusive of one bottle of wine and door gift. Reservations made before 16th December will enjoy 15% discount on the price.
To ring in the New Year, a masquerade gala has been planned to be held at the ballroom. On the cards are live Cuban band performance by Latin Connection, party novelties and door gifts, besides a scrumptious festive buffet dinner and gourmet dessert. Most importantly, this is going to be one of the more happening venues in Ipoh to countdown to 2015!
Price for this masquerade gala dinner is RM98 nett per person (adult) and RM49 nett per child (6 – 12 years old). Cover charge is RM50 nett per person from 11pm onwards. This is inclusive of two drinks and party packs.
Wondering where to eat out on New Year’s Day? Again, you can head over to The Coffee House for hi-tea, available from 12 noon to 4pm, at only RM48 nett per adult and RM24 nett per child (6 – 12 years old).
