Announcement: Merdeka Day Colouring Contest 2016
The annual children’s colouring contest in conjunction with our country’s National Day is back. Here’s calling all children to join in the fun and maybe take home some prizes.
To be hosted on 31st August at Ipoh Parade, this event is a collaboration between the shopping mall with Sin Chew Daily and World of Colours Arts Centre.

As usual, this colouring competition teaches children the core principles and values of patriotism with a splash of colour.
There are three age categories: 10 – 12 years old (11am), 7 – 9 years old (1pm) and 4 – 6 years old (3pm). Entrants are required to bring along their own colouring materials.
Said Mr. Chan Yu Yin, Centre Manager for Ipoh Parade, “We believe that the contest is a good platform for children to express their patriotic spirit when they are given the opportunity to display their love for the country through this event. They do so with much aplomb with the flourish of colours at their disposal.”

Entry fee is RM5 per child. Closing date is 25th August, 2016. Check out the poster and entry form included in this post.
