Announcement: Hot Mama 2016 Contest at Ipoh Parade

Calling all ‘HOT’ mothers aged above 21 years. In conjunction with Mother’s Day, Ipoh Parade is kicking off a highly anticipated contest for mothers, to dispel the notion that mothers can only be seen as meek, modest and exist within the domestic sphere.

The contest, which offers a platform for mothers to showcase their talents on stage, will prove that motherhood simply enriches the lives of women.

Additionally, in the contest that will be hosted by the dashing Baki Zainal, contestants will take on the catwalk and try to impress the judges, one of whom is Amber Chia, Malaysia’s very own supermodel who embodies motherhood.

The contest, held over two days on 30th April (semi-finals) and 1st May (finals) will see a selection of a maximum of 25 ladies in the semi-finals. Ten will proceed to the finals. Contestants will be adjudged based on the following:

i. Catwalk
ii. Confidence
iii. Answers during Q&A
iv. Personality
v. Presentation (Choice of attire)
vi. Talent (Finalists only)
vii. Overall

The great news is that there will be more than RM20,000 worth of cash and prizes to be won. All the ten finalists will walk home with a prize, with the ‘Hot Mama’ taking home RM8,000 worth of cash and prizes.

The following is the break down of the prizes:

i. Champion RM8,000.00 worth of cash and prizes
ii. 1st Runner-Up RM4,500.00 worth of cash and prizes
iii. 2nd Runner-Up RM2,500.00 worth of cash and prizes
iv. 7 consolation prizes worth RM250.00 each

Not in Ipoh during Hot Mama Ipoh Parade? Fret not as the contest will travel to Klang Parade on 7th May.
