62nd Anniversary Celebration @ ESSO Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, Ipoh

Stopped at the ESSO gas station along Jalan Sultan Idris Shah, Ipoh, while on my way to Ipoh Parade on Sunday morning after spotting a lion dance troupe there. What’s the occasion? I had no idea but I saw it as an opportunity to shoot even more photos.

Turned out it’s the 62nd anniversary celebration of the station. Wow, isn’t that a long time? No wonder it was a big do. Even key people from the HQ in KL came to extend their congratulations. Besides double lion dances by Chin Woo Athletic Association, there were also plenty of activities to keep children happy and occupied. Refreshments were served.
